The idiot proof diet is a strictly diet handbook that claims that they can help you lose 9 pounds every 11 days. Not just the 1st 11 days but EVERY 11 days. Is it truly possible? Does the idiot proof diet handbook work?
I definitely was pretty skeptical when I heard about it from my brother.
However, after looking for such a long time for a weight loss diet that will work without having to starve myself to death, I decided to go ahead and buy. The weight loss diet guide is a diet that lasts for 11 days. After which, you can continue with different food to keep losing the pounds. So now, after the first cycle of the idiot proof diet, here is my idiot proof diet reviews.
Did the diet work? Did I Lose 9 Pounds?
Though I didn’t exactly lose 9 pounds, my results came pretty close. I was lossing 8.3 pounds through the very 1st round of the weight loss diet. I even started seeing results within days of being on the weight loss diet.
The weight loss handbook is easy to follow as it is without any complicated rules and procedures. Also, other than the that I paid for the handbook, there was no other program or equipment which I needed to buy.
The food on the diet is simple everyday food that can be located easily in supermarkets. Also, as there is not much cooking required, I could get my food ready and eat them in less than 5 minutes.
Diet…Will I have to Starve Myself?
Whenever I spoke to anyone on my new found treasure, they would start asking if starving is needed and explanations on how they will not be able to keep away from food.
There is however no need to starve. And…each day, you will get to eat 4 meals! Yes, simply by eating more meals, your body will be constantly working on the food. The increase in the metabolism rate of your body makes sure that it helps you to burn more calories than your body used to before.
Then, the next question…what are the food we need to avoid?
Of course, if you are wolfing down dozens of deep fried chicken wings each day, you can’t expect yourself to be dropping pounds. However, you will still get to eat your favourite food before the second round of the idiot proof diet. I will write about that in awhile.
Now, you will still get to eat your pastas. You will have the choice from a range of food like meat, which I can’t live without, cheese, eggs and definitely fruits and vegetables. This weight loss diet ensures that you will be able to drop pounds without hurting your health. Hence, there is no need to worry about need to see a doctor for the lacking of nutrients from the diet.
Alright..Here’s the Exciting Part
You know how you can never stay on one diet for too long? You will end up craving for those food that you cannot have. Yes, the fact that what you can’t have simply makes you want it more.
I’ve been on so many diets and failed so many times simple because I would try to last as long as I can without certain food or following certain diet. But after a month or so, I would usually give up as I don’t see the results and it is just too much sacrifice for diets that don’t work!
Then this is where the diet gets real cool. Once the 11 days of diet is over, you will be able to enjoy a 3 days break from the idiot proof diet. While you are on the 3 days of cheat, you will be able to eat ANYTHING you want. I’m on my 3 days of cheat right now and am totally enjoying myself!
Will I Put On Weight During the 3 day Break from the Diet?
If you had followed the diet guide well, your body will already be attuned to burning more calories than you normally do so no matter what you eat, it is burning lots of calories off your body.
Plus, during the 3 days of cheat during the diet, though I did eat some food than I shouldn’t have but I actually craved for fruits. Perhaps it was a habit cultivated from the 11 days of diet. Besides that, I didn’t seem to have much appetite, perhaps due to the habit of eating 4 times a day.
My close circle of friends joined me in the weight loss journey and it worked great for us. There was no desire to binge on unhealthy food as we didn’t have to resort to starving ourselves while on the diet. We did eat till we were satisfied and when the break came, it just allowed us to indulge in the food we love so that we wouldn’t end up bingeing on them like what people normally do at the end of a long diet.
So, the three days cheat from the diet is a really great idea…especially for someone like me. I don’t really have much self-discipline so most of the time, I end up cheating in all my diet.
This is the only diet that I had gone through without the urge to cheat. I was able to sail through the idiot proof diet and lost weight without much effort!

One reason why I didn’t have to cheat was the fact that they didn’t have strict rules like you can only eat this or that today. The weight loss diet allows much flexibility, giving you the choice to choose the food depending on your own preference.
Plus….you get to have night snacks!
Yes! I almost jumped in joy when I saw that. I am one of those who stays up late every night and those normal diets will end up with me growling in hunger. My stomach would be so hungry that I can’t even sleep well. Usually, I end up eating so much due to the hunger that it results in me eating more that I should have eaten.
And…You will get to drink even wine!
I’m sorry if I got you thinking that you will get to down bottles and bottles of beer down your throat each day. You will be able to drink. However, it will not be too much. One glass of wine each day would do fine.
Is this not a totaly cool diet?!
Am I Suitable for the Diet?
It has really easy instructions to follow and the diet is easy for beginners who are looking for something to kick start their weight loss journey. This is an absolutely idiot proof diet.
Once you see the idiot proof diet handbook, you will be able to understand how truly anyone will be able to do it.
